hi all thanks for lookingi have just bought a second hane uniden bearcat ubcxlt2 handheld scanner.
the problem i have i cant get any frequencies to enter without getting error up on the screen.
when i switch it on ithas the following on the screen
p1 000.000mhz
scan
l/o
i press manual
enter a frequency ( tried a few off the forum for carlisle /cumbria various )

then when i enter manual again to store it it pops up error on screen.any advice would be greatly appreciated,i have downloaded the manual and it says error will pop up if out of frequency range of scanner but the frequencies i am entrering should be within the range,if this makes sense
