The Bell 47 G III from VARIO is a 1050 size scale helicopter. You can power this remote-controlled model helicopter with gasoline (benzin) or electric propulsion. Bell Aircraft Corporation is the creator of the man-carrying version.
Car Maintenance Manual
For VARIO's 1050 Bell 47 G 3 we recommend a main rotor speed of approx. 900 rpm. Electric drive sets from VARIO are already tuned to this head speed.
Select one of the following drive types:
Benzin Mechanics 470/22
Bell 47 Maintenance Manual Diagram
The propulsion of the full-size Bell 47 G III is also provided by a piston engine. Therefore, the Benzin mechanics is true-to-original. The center section of fuselage kit Ord.No. 4700 is equipped with fixation points for fitting the benzin mechanics Ord.No. 470/22. This mechanics derives from the VARIO Bell 47. The benefit of a gasoline helicopter is a robust, easy-to-use engine for long flight times. The fuel is available at every petrol station (2-stroke mix). If the engine noise in flight does not disturb you, you will enjoy this classic drive system for model making.
Electric Mechanics 470/22
Bell 47 Maintenance Manual Pdf
Our propulsion recommendation for this helicopter (fuselage kit Ord.No. 4700)! Electric motors are quiet, low in vibration, without exhaust gases and residual thrust. The blade slap noise sound of the rotor blades is more noticeable than with other types of propulsion and the result is a true-to-life impression in flight. For this electromechanical system you can choose between two drive sets: for 10S or 12S LiPos.
